A spin on Spain show on Straddie
(21 August 2009)

"The Castle of Andalusia" is about bandits, star-crossed lovers, mischief-makers and noble twits. It's full of misunderstandings, music and action. The play was controversial when it was performed by convicts on Norfolk Island in 1840 at their mess-hall, but it should be just as much fun to watch at the Dunwich Hall - which used to be the mess-hall of the old Benevolent Institution.

Performances: 7:30 sharp - doors open 7:00 p.m. Dunwich Community Hall Friday 4th and Saturday 5th September Tickets $25 (non-refundable) available from Dunwich News and Pt Lookout Post Office.

Bar by Dunwich RSL. Bring your own picnic supper.

Pictured: Judy Dragona as a noble lady and Johnnie Jones and Keith White as bandits.
