Straddie surfers strike success at the Red Bull Junior Surf Masters!
(16 August 2009)

Renowned surf photographer Darren Simmondson who regularly captures images of local surfers for national surfing publications as well as this website submitted these photos of Darcy and Tim in action. He added that in the final stages of the competition, Tim was sitting second to Noah Lane and needed a 9.10 score on his wave to get into winning contention and his supporters were not disappointed when on his next wave, he smashed some solid turns and scored a 9.50 to go on to win the event with a total score of 17.77 points out of a possible 20.
You can read more about Darcy and Tim's careers so far on the Straddie Surfers page on this site.
